2022 Amputee Football World Cup will take place from the 30 September to the 09 October in Istanbul.
24 teams from five continents have qualified for the World Cup. Türkiye as the host of the tournament leads group A with Haiti, France, and Liberia. Angola, the champion of the last World Cup, is housed in group F alongside Italy, Uruguay, and Iraq. Mexico, the host of the previous World Cup, is in group B together with Japan, Colombia, and Germany. The head of group C is England, the 2nd team at EURO 2017 with Argentina, the USA and Indonesia. Group D bronze medallist from the last World Cup, Brazil, together with Iran, Morocco and Ireland. Medallists from EURO 2021 Poland and Spain will face each other in group E not to forget their strong opponents from Uzbekistan and Tanzania.
The opening game will take place on 30th September at Fenerbahçe Stadium. Türkiye, the host of the tournament against France. The final of the Istanbul 2022 World Amputee Football Cup that will take place on the 09 0f October 20h in the famous stadium of Galatasaray in Istanbul.
We can expect great players and games: Amputee Football – two teams, skill, speed, agility, coordination but most of all emotions.
