EAFF Amputee Football European Championships 2024

The third edition of the Amputee Football European Championship was held in Evian, France, from June 1st to June 8th, 2024. Organized by the French Amputee Football Association (EFFA) and the European Amputee Football Federation (EAFF), the event was supported by the Haute-Savoie region of France.

Türkiye secured their third consecutive title by winning a closely contested final against Spain, further cementing their dominance in amputee football. Spain, despite the loss, had an impressive tournament run, showcasing strong skills and strategy throughout. Poland claimed third place after defeating England, demonstrating their talent and determination.

The tournament also served as a qualifier for the upcoming 2024 WAFF World Cup. Alongside Türkiye, Spain, and Poland, the teams from England, Italy, Ireland, and Germany qualified for the World Cup, setting the stage for an exciting global competition.

The 2024 Amputee Football European Championship featured 16 teams for the first time, bringing together 201 players from across Europe. The tournament saw a high level of excitement, with 192 goals scored, showcasing the offensive talent and strategic gameplay of the teams. The event was widely followed through live video streams and social media, drawing significant spectator interest.
