South American Amputee Football Championship 2025 – São Paulo – 25 to 30 August –

From August 25 to 30, 2025, São Paulo, Brazil will host the South American Amputee Football Championship — the official qualifying tournament for the 2026 Amputee Football World Cup. Organized by the Brazilian Amputee Football Confederation (CBFA) and sanctioned by the World Amputee Football Federation (WAFF), the event is proudly supported by the FIFA Foundation, marking a historic milestone for the sport.

Eight national teams — Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela — will compete for just three spots at the World Cup.

  • The group stage will be played at the CERET Sports and Recreation Center, in São Paulo’s East Zone.

  • The grand final will take place at the iconic Arena Mercado Livre Pacaembu Stadium, a symbol of Brazilian football history.

Beyond the matches, the tournament will feature an opening ceremony, live performances, cultural exhibits, and initiatives promoting accessibility and inclusion. Fans worldwide will be able to follow the action through global live broadcasts, celebrating not only football excellence but also resilience, unity, and inspiration.
