The road to the WAFF Amputee Football World Cup 2026 has taken another major step forward. On 26 September 2026, the official Draw Ceremony was held in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco, Mexico, placing the 24 qualified nations into their groups and setting the first matchups of the tournament.
The World Cup will take place from 13 to 22 November 2026, returning to Mexico eight years after the 2018 edition, also hosted in San Juan de los Lagos, where Angola lifted the trophy. Türkiye enter as defending champions after beating Angola in the 2022 final in Istanbul.
With the groups now decided, teams can enter the final phase of their preparations, and the countdown to Mexico 2026 is officially on.
