WAFF Women World Cup 2024 kicked off

On November 4, the WAFF Women’s Amputee Football World Cup 2024 kicked off in Barranquilla with an exciting Opening Ceremony and the first matches. The official opening game between host nation Colombia and Poland resulted in a 1–0 victory for Colombia. Earlier in the day, the newly formed Peruvian team faced a tough challenge, losing 0–6 to a strong Kenyan squad. Ecuador triumphed over Ukraine with a score of 2–1, while the match between Haiti and Kenya ended in a goalless draw at 0–0.

Today, November 5, marks the second day of the group stage, promising more thrilling matches as both the USA and Brazil play their opening games. Most of the matches can be watched live on the WAFF YouTube Channel.
