Uzbekistan crowned as champioon of the Asian Amputee Football Championship 2025

The 2025 Amputee Football Asian Championship concluded in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with Uzbekistan securing a dominant 6-0 victory over Indonesia in the final. The tournament, held from February 7 to 12, featured teams from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Iraq, Nepal, and Uzbekistan.

Throughout the championship, Uzbekistan showcased exceptional performance, winning all their matches by significant margins. In the group stage, they defeated Indonesia (8-1), Bangladesh (3-0), Nepal (13-0), and Iraq (3-0). In the final, team captain Abdujamil Shukurov scored a hat-trick, with Aziz Abdurahmonov adding two goals and Kudrat Khudoykulov contributing one.

The third-place match saw Iraq claim the bronze medal by defeating host nation Bangladesh 4-0.

This championship marks a significant milestone in promoting and developing amputee football in Asia. All matches were live-streamed and can be viewed on the World Amputee Football Federation’s YouTube channel.
