The Rwanda Amputee Football National Championship for the 2024-2025 season is divided into five phases, with ten men’s teams and three women’s teams. The league takes place between September and May, with teams playing each other home and away throughout the season, for a total of 90 matches. The team with the most points at the end of Phase 5 wins the league title. Last weekend (12/13 October) saw the conclusion of Phase 2 of the league in Huye. Karongi is leading the men’s standings, while Nyanza holds the top position in the women’s league. The next phase will take place on 21/22 December in Kicukiro, southeast of the city of Kigali. On each competition day, there will be great matches with spectators and even a sports festival in the town.
